Nehem International participated in a Grundtvig project: “Network for intercultural advice”. Together with partners from Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Bulgaria, Nehem International studied relevant experiences of advising to ethnic entrepreneurs in the Netherlands. These experiences were discussed with the project partners, compared with similar experiences in the participating countries and incorporated in a tool box.
The project members started a discussion forum on internet to contribute to the continuous exchange of experience on the subject. To read one of the case studies from the Netherlands, click here.

The project addresses the needs of young graduates to improve their chances in the labour market. China (PRC): SME - management training
The provision of modern management training and management consultancy in the Province of Quandong. The management training was aimed at the transfer of knowledge and skills to 40 different managers from public and private sector. The training programme contained strategy development, HRM, Management and Organisation, Marketing, Finance, International Trade and quality Care. Belarus: Assistance to the Belarussian Private Farmers Association (BFA)
The Project contains institutional development of the BFA, development of services to their members and the strengthening of Social Dialogue. The project also includes the establishment of contacts between Belarussian and Dutch agricultural institutions/organisations and the development of a pilot cooperative firm. Feasibility study for setting up a national SME support organisation based on local initiatives. Seminar on the role of local initiatives viz. A viz. the effectiveness in stimulating thhe SME sector. Croatia: Vision development and strategic planning for management echelons of SME sector in Croatia
Development of a benchmarking training module for management echelons of the Croatian SME sector. Selection of training institutes and trainers, who will provide the training course on commercial base. Training of the trainers to provide the training in Croatia. Kosovo: Enterprise management Project Restoration of Brick factories and Quarries
The project envisages the reconstruction of selected brick factories and quarries through: the procurement of equipment required to reinstall the pre-war production capacities; technical assistance and management support to the companies to enhance their competitiveness. Serbia: Support structure for organic agriculture in the Voivodina
Technical assistance to establish an economic and organic sustainable agricultural production in Serbia. Introduction of eco-agro production to meet an increased (Western) demand for organic produced crops.
